The big question

Kari was in her room listening to the radio, when suddenly a romantic song comes on. “Not again! Every time I hear a romantic song I think of tk, could I have a crush on him or something?” Kari asked herself. Tai was standing at her door listening to what she was saying, but she did not know. Tai cleared his throat so that kari would know he was there. Kari turned around and looked at him surprised. “Oh tai! I didn’t know you where there.” Kari said and blushed a little. “Yeah I noticed. Just came to tell you that dinner is ready. Kari?” Tai asked. “Yeah?” Kari asked him. “I am always here if you want to talk about something.” Tai said and walked out the room. Kari stared at the door and smiled. “Yeah I know tai.” She whispered.
Kari ate her dinner and went into tai’s room. He was using his computer to chat with matt. “Umm..” kari said. Tai turned around. “Hi kari! What’s up?” Tai asked. Kari sat down on his bed and looked out the window. “Well I want to ask you something.” Kari said. Tai nodded. “How do you know when you like somebody? You know as a boyfriend?” Kari asked. Tai stared out the window thinking. “Well you feel really stupid when you are around that person, and you really really care about that person.” Tai said. “Oh……I understand tai. Thanks.” Kari said. “Your welcome sis!” Tai said and went back to talking with matt. Kari got up from his bed and stared at the back of his head for a few seconds. “I love you big bro!” Kari said and walked out of his room. Tai smiled and told matt he was weird.
The next morning, kari was walking to school when suddenly somebody tapped her shoulder. She turned around and saw tk. behind her. “um…Hi tk.!” She said and blushed. “Hi! Good morning!” TK. said and smiled at her. “Hurry up guys or we you will get detention!” Davis said and ran through the school gate. “Yeah davis is right for a change!” T.K. said and ran after davis. Kari stared at T.K. as he ran and found herself daydreaming when suddenly the bell rang. “Oh no! Im late!” Kari said and ran to her class. Everybody was already in their seats and Mr. Malort was already beginning to talk. “Mrs. Kamiya, we are all glad you could make it, I will see you after school in detention.” He said and looked at her. “Yes sir.” Kari said and sat down on her desk beside TK. T.K. looked at kari and raised his hand. “Yes T.K?” Mr. Malort asked. “Mr. Malort you look like a Do Do bird!” T.K. said. Everybody started laughing out loud. “I will see you after school in detention with Mrs. Kamiya.” Mr. Malort said looking mad. When kari stopped laughing she looked over at T.K. “Why did you do that?” Kari asked him. “I wouldn’t leave you alone with a teacher that looks like ogermon!” T.K. said and winked at her. Kari smiled at him and went back to doing her work.
The bell finally rang and it was time to go home. Everybody had already left the classroom, but kari. She was getting her books out of her desk. “There you are!” T.K. said and walked into the classroom. “Yeah here I am.” Kari said. “We are having a meeting at my place. You want to walk with me?” T.K. asked her. “Yeah sure lets go.” Kari said and walked out the door. T.K. stared at her and then ran after her. “Hey kari?” Tk asked her as they were walking to his house. “Huh?” Kari asked. “Are you feeling ok?” He asked her. “Yeah. Why do you ask?” Kari asked him. “No reason, you are just acting a little weird.” He said. “Oh.” kari said. They walked in silence until they got to tk’s house. “Well here we are.” Tk said. “Uh-huh.” kari said and they both went into his apartment. Everybody was already there. “So where were you two?” Tai asked them. “At school.” TK answered. “Doing what?” Matt asked and smiled “NOTHING!!!!” Tk and kari both yelled at him. “Ok ok! Geez! I was just kidding around!” Matt said. “This is no joking matter!!!” Yolei yelled at matt. “Uh…..” Matt said looking scared. “Calm down yolei!” Davis said. “You calm down!! Ken is in the digital world hurting innocent digimon and here we all are sitting on our butts!! Well not me! Lets go Poromon! Digiport open!” She yelled and went into the digital world. “Yolei! Wait its dangerous in there if you go alone! Come on Patamon lets go get her!” Tk said and went in the digital world. Kari stared at the computer screen. “He likes yolei, not me.” Kari thought. “come on everyone lets go after those two!” Davis said and they all went into the digital world.
“Where are they?” Kari asked. “There! And they are fighting a digimon!” Tai said and pointed at Holsmon and Pegasusmon. They were fighting darktyranomon. “Digiarmor energize!!!” Davis yelled. “Veemon armor digivolve to……..Flamadramon the fire of courage!” Veemon said and digivolved. “Digiarmor energize!” Cody yelled. “Armadillomon armor digivolve to………….Digmon the drill of power.” Armadillomon said and digivolved. Digmon and Flamadramon joined the fight, but they were still no match for darktyranomon. “Kari! Make me digivolve!” Gatomon said and turned around to look at kari but she wasn’t there. “Hey! Where did kari go?” Gatomon asked. “She was just behind us a minute ago!” Matt said and looked around. “Kari!!! Where are you!!” Tai yelled but nobody answered him. “There she is!” Cody yelled and pointed at a mountain nearby. Kari was climbing it. she slipped and almost fell off but she continued to climb it. “What is she doing? She is going to fall off.” Matt said. “Look guys! there is a light at the top of the mountain! She is going to it.” Davis said. Tai started to run to the mountain and everybody else followed him. “Kari!!! What are you doing?” Tai yelled. Kari heard him and looked at him. “it’s a digiegg! Im going to get it!” Kari yelled back. “that’s weird. Im not picking up a signal or anything.” Cody said. “Me neither.” davis said. “It must be her digiegg.” Matt said. The other digimon finally got the dark ring off darktyranomon and went to where the others where. “Hey what’s going on?” tk asked when he finally got to where the others where. Davis pointed at kari and tk looked. “KARI! Is she crazy? She is going to fall!” Tk yelled. Kari finally reached the top of the mountain. There was a digiegg with a weird crest on it. Kari walked over to it and picked it up easily. “I guess its mine. I have never seen that crest before.” Kari said and looked at the digiegg. “I will get her!” Flamadramon said and went to get kari off the mountain. “Need a lift?” Flamadramon asked her. “Yeah thanks.” Kari said and Flamadramon got her off the mountain and they landed in front of the others. “Are you ok?” Tk asked and ran to her. Kari nodded and walked over to the others leaving tk standing alone. “Wow! it’s a new digiegg!” Tai said and looked at it. “I have never seen that crest.” Matt said and looked at it too. “Yeah me neither.” yolei said. “Kari how did you know it was there?” Cody asked. “I don’t know, I kind of felt it calling me.” Kari said. “That’s weird.” Tk said. “Well lets try it out!” Gatomon said. “Yeah! Digiarmor energize!!!” Kari yelled. Suddenly kari and Gatomon started to glow. “What is happening to her?” Tk asked and ran to kari. Suddenly there was a very bright light and everybody covered their eyes. When the light was gone everybody opened their eyes and Gatomon and kari where gone, in their place stood a digimon. “Where did kari and Gatomon go? And who is this digimon?” Tai asked.
“Its us guys!” Kari’s and Gatomon’s voice said. “Wow! What!” everybody said looking confused. “Yes me and Gatomon somehow joined our data and together we made ophanimon.” Kari’s voice said. “It must have been the digiegg that caused this to happen.” Tk said. “It was. it’s the digiegg of bioemerging.” Kari said. Suddenly ophanimon started to glow and returned back to kari and Gatomon. “Wow that was very strange. I was actually a digimon?” Kari asked. “Yes you were” Yolei said. Suddenly kari collapsed and fell on the floor. “Kari!” Tai said and ran to her. “Are you ok?” Matt asked her. “Yeah. That just got me a little tired that’s all. I will be fine don’t worry about me.” Kari said. “She is so pale. She doesn’t look good at all. She is probably just saying that so tai wont worry about her like when we were younger.” Tk thought. (Flashback): All the digidestined are walking in the dessert tired when suddenly a younger kari collapses. “Kari!” Younger tai yells and runs to her and picks her up from the floor. “She is burning up!” Sora says. “Kari why didn’t you say anything if you felt sick? We could have stopped to rest until you felt better.” Tai says to kari. “I didn’t want to slow everyone down.” Kari says and closes her eyes. (Flashback over.) “She never worries about herself, she only worries about others.” Tk thought and looked at kari. “I better keep my eye on her while we are here, I don’t want her to get hurt, I……….love her too much.” Tk thought. “Im feeling better now lets go.” Kari said and got up from the floor. “Are you sure kari?” Matt asked. Kari nodded and smiled at matt. Tk stared at kari and matt. “She doesn’t like me, she likes my brother. Im not going to beat around the bush, im going to ask her directly” Tk thought and. Everybody started walking.” Hey kari. I need to talk to you.” Tk whispered to kari. Kari turned around. “Ok. Talk.” Kari said. “Well…uh…I was wondering……do you like my brother matt?” Tk asked embarrassed. Kari stared at tk. “What kind of like?” Kari asked. “ You know like a boyfriend.” Tk said. Kari stared at him and then started laughing. “What is so funny?” Tk asked. “No I don’t like your brother as a boyfriend silly, I like you.” Kari said and blushed when she realized what she had just said. Tk stared at her and smiled. “I like you as a girlfriend too kari kamiya.” Tk said and smiled. They both smiled at each other and went back to walking with the others holding hands.
